Some friends of mine made an amazing documentary about a movie theater in Haiti called “Sun City Picture House”. If you haven’t seen it, you should. This short documentary brought joy and hope to people all over. And those insanely talented friends are at it again with their next short called “Baseball in the Time of Cholera”. This film is beautifully shot, and brings awareness to the escalated cholera epidemic in Haiti. In 2 years, over 7,000 have died; even friends of ours have passed from the disease. Everyone is being affected. This film raises questions about the source and tells the tale of a baseball team consisting of some pretty great young boys, one in particular, Joseph. The film will be showing at Tribeca film festival in NYC, to see the schedule click here. And you can watch the trailer here.
